starting point

Starting Point is the process we use to help you take the next steps in your journey towards establishing a relationship with God and and finding your place here at Metro Harvest.

There are two tracks you can take: Explore Your Faith and Explore Your Church

Explore Your Faith is a three-week process that helps you establish a relationship with Christ, learn how to hear from God and walk with Him, and culminates in water baptism on the fourth Sunday of every month.

Explore Your Church is also a three-week process that helps you discover your redemptive purpose and potential, and connect here in a meaningful way at Metro.

Here are the Explore Your Church classes:

  • church 1.0

This is a basic introduction to the ministry of Metro Harvest Church and will help you understand what membership is all about. It's also a great place to meet others who are new or newer like yourself! Refreshments will be served and childcare is provided. Church 1.0 happens on the first Sunday of every month after the service and is 60 minutes.

  • Discovery 2.0

Find out what makes you so unique! This lab helps you discover how God can use your personality type, passions, and abilities to help others and make a difference in our community. Discovery 2.0 happens on the second Sunday of every month after the service and is 60 minutes. Refreshments will be served and childcare is provided.

  • Potential 3.0

Really know what it means to become everything God designed you to be! This seminar focuses on how you can strengthen your character and gifting to fulfill your God-given potential. Refreshments will be served and childcare is provided. Potential 3.0 happens on the third Sunday of every month after the service and is 60 minutes.

  • DREAM Team 4.0

At this rally you'll meet the leader of the ministry area you're interested in, and attend a short orientation/training session with them. Your journey with Starting Point is complete when you join a ministry team. Dream Team 4.0 happens on the fourth Sunday of every month after the service. A light meal is served, and children can attend.
