Here at Metro Harvest we take the education and safety of the youngest members of our church family very seriously. We are proud to provide safe, clean, loving environments for all of our kids.
Our classes are staffed by an excellent team of volunteer teachers that have gone through an interview process, thorough criminal background check and receive continuous training to ensure we are providing your child with the best care possible.
MHC Kids makes it a goal to help every child build strong relationships and become more like Jesus.
6 weeks - 5 years old
It is our goal to teach every child that:
- God made them.
- God loves them.
- Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
Babies: We know it can be a little overwhelming to leave your baby for the first time. We have a team of volunteers who love babies and can’t wait for your little one to arrive. Please bring any diapers, bottles, pacifiers and/or blankets to help soothe your baby through the morning. Also, be sure to label any belongings you bring with you.
Preschoolers: This is a fun and very busy stage of your children’s lives. We begin our teaching plan in the toddler classroom that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We also recognize toddlers are very active and we allow for flexibility in our morning schedule.
6 years - 11 years old
Our goal is to teach every child these three principles:
- I need to make wise choice
- I can trust God no matter what
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated
Here is what a typical morning in KidZone looks like:
Worship - Our service kicks-off with action-packed worship that is guaranteed to get your child jumping, praising, and worshipping God in KidZone style!
Large Group - kids will be taught how to follow God in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way. This helps you as the parent to talk about the lesson as a family. Kids participate in the large group teaching through media, props, and interaction.
Small Groups - This is where kids do a variety of activities to reinforce what was learned. This is also the place where your child will build lasting friendships. We want kids to walk away remembering their morning and small groups do just that!
Upon arriving, be sure to register at the check-in station located in the lobby. You are able to check-in your child 15 minutes prior to each service time, and up to 10 minutes after. We have an awesome team of trained volunteers who will be waiting to greet your child in their appropriate classroom.
Prior to visiting Metro Harvest and checking in to one of the Children's Ministry areas, please call the office at (262) 250-1925 regarding how we can best assist you.
