A Marriage Conference About Choosing Each Other—On Purpose

Marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts, and like anything valuable, it requires intentional choice.

This Marriage Conference is designed to help couples pause, reconnect, and realign their relationship with Christ at the center. Through biblical teaching, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences, couples will be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to choose unity, communication, grace, and mission—again and again.

Whether you’ve been married for decades or are newly engaged, this conference creates space to slow down, invest intentionally, and say with clarity and conviction:

Conference Schedule

8:45 AM    Doors Open

9:00 AM    Arrival, Check-In & Breakfast

9:15 AM     Session 1: Christ at the Center of Marriage : Exploring how a shared relationship with Christ shapes love, unity, forgiveness, and purpose in marriage.

10:00 AM   Break

10:15 AM    Session 2: Communication That Builds, Not Breaks: Learning godly communication—listening with humility, speaking truth in love, resolving conflict biblically, and avoiding harmful patterns.

11:00 AM    Session 3: Grace, Forgiveness, and Healing: Addressing hurt, disappointment, and past wounds, and how practicing Christlike forgiveness restores intimacy and trust.

11:45 AM     Couples Activity & Table Reset: Couples will participate in a meaningful reflection activity—a “stone of remembrance.” Each couple will write a word they want to work on this year (such as communication, prayer, romance, or joy) on a river rock as a reminder of what God is shaping in their marriage.

12:00 PM    Lunch Service

12:40 PM    Session 4: Breakout Sessions (Men & Women) Oneness: Emotional, Spiritual, and Physical Intimacy: Understanding biblical intimacy beyond sex—emotional safety, spiritual connection, and honoring one another in physical intimacy.

1:20 PM – Session 5: Marriage on Mission Viewing marriage as a ministry—serving God together, raising children in faith, stewarding finances, and being a witness to the world.

2:00 PM – Closing & Prayer : Final encouragement, prayer, and an invitation to join upcoming Marriage Life Groups.


EVENING CELEBRATION

6:00 PM – Arrival for Vow Renewals
Couples return for a special evening celebration.

6:30 PM – Vow Renewal & Wedding Reception Experience
A meaningful and joy-filled experience to reaffirm your commitment and celebrate your marriage together.

8:00 PM – End of Evening

Do I need to register?
Yes. Space is limited, and registration will close once capacity is reached. We encourage you to register as soon as possible.
Are there refunds if I can’t attend?
Thank you for understanding that Marriage Conference registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Will childcare be provided?
Childcare will not be provided, and children will not be permitted to attend.

Our hope is that this conference will serve as a distraction-free time for couples to focus on their marriage.
Who can attend the Marriage Conference?
Engaged and married couples of all ages are welcome. The content is designed to be meaningful and applicable for couples at every stage of life.

Absolutely. Each conference offers fresh teaching, new experiences, and renewed encouragement.
Can I invite couples who don’t attend Metro Harvest Church?
Yes! This conference is open to friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.

You’re welcome to come just as you are. If you’d like, bring a Bible, notebook, and pen.
