Jonathan Martinez
Associate Pastor, Elder
Jonathan Martinez serves as Associate Pastor and Dream Team Director at Metro Harvest Church. His primary responsiblities involve developing leaders, equipping volunteers, and overseeing all of the church's online presence.
He also actively participates in teaching and preaching, with his desire being to help people grow through the faithful teaching of God’s Word.
Jonathan joined Metro Harvest in 2021 after serving for four years as a Worship Director and Youth Pastor in McAllen, Texas. He relocated to Wisconsin to complete a two-year pastoral internship, which culminated in his ordination in September 2023.
With a deep love for theology and a people-centered approach to ministry, Jonathan is committed to clear, exegetical preaching and helping others practically apply Scripture in their daily lives. He draws inspiration from theological leaders such as R.C. Sproul, Alistair Begg, R.L. Solberg, and A.W. Tozer, as well as contemporary pastors like Jonnny Ardavanis, Chris Hodges, and Costi Hinn.
As a professionally trained musician, he plays over five instruments. He has a lifelong love of soccer and boxing, which he still practices consistently.
Jonathan and his wife Melody have been married since 2016 and are blessed with one son, Benjamin Thiago. They are grateful to be part of the Metro Harvest community and are excited to see what God continues to do in and through the church.
